“ I have been involved in the furniture industry for over 25 years.

After a life changing event I was thrown into a reality that was quite a scary place to be, and

I needed to change direction and found that unexpectedly whilst scouring auctions and antiques

shops for furniture for my period home.

​I developed a keen interest in the restoration of the old and decrepit pieces of furniture I

came across, the history, design and fabrics all fascinated me. This led me to successfully complete my

traditional upholstery diploma.

Then setting up my workshop to work on commissioned pieces, and subsequently

falling in love with everything antique and vintage .....  I was hooked.

This then evolved into not only upholstered pieces but painting too, commissions started to

come In, and as they did, I realised that some clients were having great difficulty in finding

something just the right colour or shade.

​

That’s when it all got a bit messy !

​

 I began experimenting with colour, texture, and finish and to my surprise the paint that I was

creating soon became popular with clients.

​

Today, I have a durable and versatile chalked furniture paint that is a joy to use.

Beautiful colours to enhance furniture both in the period and 21st century home.

A small-scale affair simply because I love to share ….​
